GLOBAL ALUMNI AND ALUMNI CLUBS

Penn’s wide-ranging global alumni network and Alumni Regional Clubs connect graduates to Penn and each other all around the world. Alumni provide a vital resource for personal and professional growth, fostering each other’s progress in industries and countries across the globe.


GLOBAL ENGAGEMENT FUND

The Global Engagement Fund fosters creative, cross-disciplinary initiatives that have the potential to provide substantial and sustainable benefits to the University. 


COURSERA

Coursera is an online platform for open-access, non-credit classes, available at no cost to audiences around the world. Coursera is dedicated to working with high-quality university partners rather than with individual instructors. There are currently 17 partner institutions, including Penn.

Highlight Regional Initiative

The Government of Botswana, the University of Botswana and the University of Pennsylvania formed the Botswana-UPenn Partnership to build capacity in Botswana in response to the HIV/AIDS epidemic. UPenn is taking a broad interdisciplinary approach to train health-care personnel throughout Botswana in prevention and treatment of HIV/AIDS and its complications, to develop outstanding post-graduate training programs at the University of Botswana with an emphasis on Internal Medicine and its subspecialties, to offer experience in global health to Penn trainees, and to develop joint research programs that address issues relevant to the health and welfare of the citizens of Botswana.
