Michael Dixon is an Advisor in the International Student and Scholar Services (ISSS) office at the University of Pennsylvania. His responsibilities include advising Penn's international students and scholars on immigration regulations; advising university faculty and staff on regulations pertaining to foreign students and scholars; welcoming new students and scholars to the University of Pennsylvania; and helping to plan and present workshops on various topics for students, scholars and university departments.
Michael earned his undergraduate and master's degrees from West Chester University of Pennsylvania and began his career there in the Center for International Programs as a Graduate Assistant. He also interned as a Legislative Fellow in the Pennsylvania House of Representatives. In addition, he worked as an Immigration Paralegal in the immigration law firm of Klasko, Rulon, Stock & Seltzer, LLP in Philadelphia prior to joining Penn. Michael originally comes from Durham, England.
