To advance the Penn compact’s mission of global engagement, Dr. Ezekiel Emanuel, the Vice Provost for Global Initiatives, wishes to explore ways to better integrate international students’ diverse perspectives to the Penn community. Thus, the International Student and Scholar Services (ISSS), the Office of the Vice Provost of University Life (VPUL), and the International Student Advisory Board (ISAB), in consultation with student representatives from AIS, UA and GAPSA, would like to invite you to participate in a campus-wide survey and attend one of ten scheduled focus groups.


The survey and focus group will expand the base of knowledge at the University about international students’ successful integration to the Penn community and help meet your social, cultural and academic needs. The results of the survey will provide Penn offices with important information to develop a series of initiatives to better integrate international students into co-curricular programming.
