Collaboration with China

Undergraduate Exchange Agreements (managed out of Penn Abroad) include the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology and Shanghai Jiao Tong University.


Zhejiang University (MOU signed in 2010): This agreement stipulates that the two institutions will explore the following areas of mutual interest: degree-twinning initiatives, exchange of undergraduates, graduates, faculty, and researchers; and research collaborations.


Shanghai Jiao Tong University (MOU signed in 1980): In collaboration with Wharton, this longstanding agreement seeks to cooperate in the areas of management and technology, start new schools, and enhance existing schools and departments.


The Global Biomedical Service (GBS) Program is an embedded program and an academically-based service initiative that provides undergraduates with a unique opportunity to participate in delivering clinical services to underserved communities internationally, and to undertake an enriching cross cultural experience while doing so. The 2015 GBS program is focused on working in conjunction with students from Hong Kong Polytechnic University to provide orthotic services to children in need in southern China.
