Scholarship Opportunity for Penn Students - Fudan International Summer Session 2018

Penn Abroad is pleased to announce the opportunity for two Penn students to earn a scholarship to attend the Fudan International Summer Session (FISS), which will run from July 11 - August 9, 2018. This 4-week program is a study and cultural experience available to students from all over the world. Students will have the opportunity to get to know China, experience Shanghai, and be part of the Fudan community. This program will help students improve multicultural understanding, establish a global vision, and become connected with peers from all over the world. Two (2) Penn students will be selected for the scholarship, covering tuition and room and board. Scholarship recipients remain responsible for the cost of round-trip airfare as well as additional personal expenses.

Fudan University International Summer Session offers 20 content courses, 4 language courses at different levels, and 2 PE courses. Students may choose from one to three content courses, and the Chinese language courses and PE courses are optional. After successful completion of the course study, students will be awarded a program certificate and an official transcript from Fudan University. * Important note: University of Pennsylvania students must consult with their academic advisor to discuss the potential of receiving transfer credit for courses taken through the FISS. Students taking a Chinese language course may be eligible for academic credit at Penn based on Chinese language placement exam results upon return.
