Join us for a conversation with Dr. Vinay Nadkarni, Professor and Endowed Chair at the Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia (CHOP), Departments of Anesthesiology, Critical Care and Pediatrics, University of Pennsylvania Perelman School of Medicine.

During this one-hour virtual talk, Dr. Nadkarni will discuss the growth and development of two health care training programs across India: the Active Bleeding Control (ABC)-Stop the Bleed program, a drone-based road traffic accident and injury response initiative; and PediSTARS (Pediatric Simulation Training and Research Society), an initiative to improve pediatric health care in India through simulation-based interventions.

The discussion will be moderated by Dr. Sampath Kannan, Henry Salvatori Professor in the Department of Computer and Information Science at the University of Pennsylvania. This event is the third of the Penn in India: Faculty Speaker Series.
