Survey Monkey Apply

Penn Global now uses Survey Monkey Apply, an online application management system, to run almost all aspects of its funding programs. 

To view your project, including your Proposal, Project Budget, and general Terms & Conditions, please log on to Survey Monkey Apply. A few basic guidelines regarding the management of your Global Engagement Fund project are noted below.

Payment will be provided to the recipient in a lump sum, via journal entry processed from Penn Global’s Business Office upon completion of all referenced award documents.

Interim progress reports will be due at the mid-point of the projects (after six months), and will include a narrative report and expenditure report to measure the project's performance against its stated goals and approved budget.

If a project is granted an extension beyond its original one-year timeline, Penn Global may require additional interim reports. 

A month after the end of the project, a final expenditure report and narrative report outlining accomplishments and opportunities for additional funding must be submitted. Penn Global may request periodic updates and reports. All reports should be completed on the Survey Monkey Apply platform. 

Funds must be spent within the Period of Performance and expenditures must be consistent with the project budget. Substantial changes to the Project Budget require advance written approval of Penn Global and are not approved retroactively.

Shifting Funds
Funds may be shifted between tasks or approved program elements, in accordance with the following parameters:

  • The total amount shifted from one task to another may not exceed 20% of the original estimated cost of the task. Requests to shift funds in excess of 20% must be submitted in advance to Penn Global for approval.

Unspent Funds
Unspent funds will be treated as follows:

  • At completion of the project, unspent funds will be transferred back to the funding sources

  • At least 30 days prior to completion of the project, a no-cost extension may be requested if there are remaining project activities or project expenses. This is subject to Penn Global approval.

The Awardee will notify Penn Global as soon as possible in the event that the Awardee is unable to perform the work and activities of this Project, expend the Award funds for the purposes of the Project or within the Period of Performance, or to otherwise meet the terms and conditions of this Award.
