Global Engagement Fund

Reporting Requirements

Interim progress reports will be due at the mid-point of the projects (after six months), and will include a narrative report and expenditure report to measure the project's performance against its stated goals and approved budget.

If a project is granted an extension beyond its original one-year timeline, Penn Global may require additional interim reports.

A month after the end of the project, a final expenditure report and narrative report outlining accomplishments and opportunities for additional funding must be submitted. Penn Global may request periodic updates and reports. All reports should be completed on the Survey Monkey Apply platform.

In addition to completing formal reporting requirements, faculty awardees may be requested to:

  1. Participate in an interview in which the faculty member would be encouraged to discuss their project and larger research portfolio. The interview would be conducted by a member of Penn Global, and would be featured online (e.g., via the Penn Global website) and/or other communications outlets.
  2. Present their work as part of a lecture series or symposium. The presentation could be hosted at the Perry World House or at another Penn venue on campus or abroad, and would be open to relevant audiences. Penn Global would work closely with the faculty member to plan and organize the event.
