Penn Global Week

World Story Slam

Thursday, September 12, 2019
6:00 PM – 8:00 PM | Iron Gate Theater

The second-annual World Story Slam is an “open mic” event where students can share short stories about their experiences traveling to new countries, engaging with new communities, and learning about new cultures -- whether in the course of traveling abroad or while coming to Penn.

Through the art of storytelling, students will meet new classmates, strengthen friendships and develop a richer understanding of the global communities at Penn. Participants and audience members alike will have the opportunity to vote for their favorite storytellers.

Pizza, pretzels and drinks will be provided.
