Frank Calabrese is the Associate Director of ISSS, having joined the University of Pennsylvania after 6 years in the private practice of immigration law. His responsibilities cover visa petitions and document production for the University’s international population.
Before entering the field of law, Frank spent 6 years at New York University’s Casa Italiana Zerilli-Marimò, where he managed an ongoing series of cultural and academic programming. He graduated from Rutgers University School of Law in Camden and holds a BA in Italian Studies and International Politics, and an MA in European Politics and Policy, both from New York University. His graduate studies focused on migration patterns and asylum policy and practice in both the US and Europe. Frank is a member of the Pennsylvania Bar and the American Immigration Lawyers Association. He is fluent in Italian, and proficient in Spanish, and French.
