Khalil ElBechir

Biography

Khalil ElBechir is a junior at the University of Pennsylvania from Tunisia pursuing a dual degree between the Wharton School and the College of Arts and Sciences. He studies Political Science with a concentration in International Relations in the College and Economics with a concentration in Statistics and Data Science at Wharton.

Khalil is a Perry World House Student Fellow, contributing to the university’s global affairs center, and a Wharton Research Fellow, through which he will conduct an independent research project on NGO funding structures.

Beyond academics, Khalil serves in student government as a cabinet member of Penn’s Undergraduate Assembly, where he directs the Community Engagement and Sustainability Committee, and as Finance Chair of Penn Traditions.
