Biography

Lianne is an MSE Bioengineering student from the Philippines, driven to translate scientific breakthroughs into accessible clinical solutions in LMICs. Drawing from her previous laboratory experiences as an undergraduate student at Keio University in Japan, Lianne now focuses on cancer immunotherapy research at the Penn Center for Cellular Immunotherapies, where she aims to elucidate the epigenetic mechanisms governing CAR-T cell resistance and fitness.

When not in the lab or library, Lianne is busy taking afternoon cat naps, running daily to keep her knees from creaking, or wandering off into a good book the moment she forgets her to-do list.
