Aaron Fuccello is the Associate Director of International Student and Scholar Services (ISSS). His main responsibility is to provide leadership and advising to scholars, faculty, staff, students, exchange visitors and community members. Aaron earned a Juris Doctorate from Loyola University, New Orleans and a bachelor’s degree from the University of Vermont. In his previous position, Aaron worked as an Immigration Attorney at a mid-sized law firm. He represented individuals, families and U.S. employers in matters before the U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS), the U.S. Department of State (DOS), U.S. Customs Border and Protection (CBP), and other government agencies. Working primarily in the H-1B and Nonimmigrant context, Aaron has represented clients on a variety of complex immigration matters, including preparing and filing a multitude of non immigrant petitions and applications, motions to reopen / reconsider, notices of intent to deny (NOIDs), and notices of intent to revoke (NOIRs), nunc pro tunc filings for nonimmigrant petitions (H1B, L-1, F-1, etc), and more. He has represented companies and individuals in complex employment based I-140 Immigrant Petitions.
Before attending law school, Aaron lived for two years in Cambodia and Thailand where he taught English to college aged students. Aaron is thrilled to be working for the University of Pennsylvania and is committed to advancing Penn’s commitment to global engagement by providing immigration expertise and holistic integration support to the Penn community.
