Riley Cook

International Student and Scholar Advisor

Riley Cook is an International Student and Scholar Advisor for ISSS. Her cases have included F-1 students, J-1 students, J-1 scholars, and H-1B employees. Riley greatly enjoys connecting with her advisees, learning about immigration policy and identifying ways to provide the best possible service to Penn’s international community. Outside of work, Riley can often be found exploring Philadelphia with her friends and family.

Riley’s passion for supporting international students and scholars stems from her experience working on various immigration issues in the US and Germany. As a Fulbright scholar, she researched the impact of federal refugee housing grants on integration of Syrian refugees. Riley holds an M.S. Ed. from Penn’s Graduate School of Education.
