Penn Washington Health

Amplifies Penn’s leadership in evidence-based care by bringing together experts to examine and collaborate on policy solutions supporting affordable, healthy, and positive aging.

Our Focus:

Advances in medicine and public health are transforming how care is delivered, financed, and experienced. Penn Washington’s health initiative brings together expertise from across the University of Pennsylvania—including leaders in University of Pennsylvania School of Nursing and Penn Medicine—to examine policy solutions that support accessible, high-quality care and healthier aging. Drawing on Penn’s strengths in clinical research, health policy, and evidence-based practice, the initiative highlights innovations such as telemedicine, workforce development, and new care delivery models. Through dialogue with policymakers and practitioners, Penn Washington translates Penn’s research into insights that strengthen health systems, improve patient outcomes, and support affordable care for aging populations.
