Dmytro Klonkin

Biography

Dmytro Klonkin is a fall 2026 research intern at Penn Washington. Originally from Kyiv, Ukraine, he is a junior at the University of Pennsylvania studying political science with a concentration in American politics. At Penn, Dmytro is an event planner for the Penn Ukrainian Students Association and an active member of the Assembly of International Students.

His academic interests include conflict studies, democracy studies, and U.S. foreign policy toward Eastern Europe. In his free time, Dmytro enjoys reading, biking, and playing ultimate frisbee.
