Ask Me About…

Ali is a senior Electrical Engineering student at Ain Shams University in Cairo, specializing in Networks and Communication Systems. He is deeply interested in research both within and beyond his field, driven by the belief that engineering is ultimately about innovation, experimentation, and creating ideas that leave a meaningful impact.

During his year at the University of Pennsylvania, Ali explored the United States from east to west and north to south, meeting people from diverse backgrounds and gaining new perspectives on both the world and himself. The experience allowed him to reflect, plan for the future, and appreciate the small details of everyday life.

Beyond academics, Ali is a published Arabic novelist with two completed books and is currently working on a third, alongside a personal project documenting his small adventures. When he is not reading, he enjoys cooking new dishes from different cuisines. His year at The University of Pennsylvania made him interested in Ethical Engineering research and exploring the domain of Engineering Entrepreneurship.
