Biography

Aliza plays a key role in programming support and student engagement for Penn Abroad’s inbound student population. In addition to supporting the Exchange at Penn and Sawiris Penn Scholars Exchange Program, Aliza also provides overall support to Penn Abroad’s global programs. She is currently pursuing an M.Ed. in International Educational Development at Penn’s Graduate School of Education. She completed her undergraduate studies at the University of Virginia with a B.A in Leadership & Public Policy and in French in May 2025. Aliza also spent the last year completing a Fulbright in Benin as an English Teaching Assistant, where she taught English to middle and high school students.
