Program Abroad:

  • Semester Abroad (SA): King's College London, England

Ask me about...

  • Being a Muslim abroad

  • Volunteering abroad

  • Studying abroad as an international student

  • Hacks for living in London: discounts for London's Oyster (their public transport), cheap tickets for theatre shows, how to access multiple universities' libraries for free with your student ID

My Experience Abroad:

I took courses at King's College London to fulfill some of my Health and Societies and Anthropology major requirements.

Other Highlights:

  • I was able to volunteer weekly with a local organization that provides refugee children with afterschool activities.

  • I had the opportunity to travel to several countries in Europe. The highlight of them all would definitely be Disneyland Paris.

  • I got to experience London's vibrant theatre scene; from Matilda, The Play That Goes Wrong, and also The Book of Mormon. Sadly, I did not get to watch the Cursed Child.

  • Being able to experience the huge climate change protest by Extinction Rebellion that shook London.

  • Experiencing some of England's great theme parks; the seasonal Winter Wonderland at Hyde Park and Thorpe Park.
