Program Abroad:

  • Semester Abroad (SA): King's College London

Ask me about...

  • Budgeting and managing finances as a FGLI student studying abroad

  • Balancing classes and wanting to explore a new city

  • Maintaining contact with friends back home at Penn and not feel homesick/FOMO (fear of missing out)

  • Discovering discounts and deals for affordable dining/experiences for university students

My Experience Abroad:

My study abroad experiences allowed me to reaffirm my interest to pursue an occupation that will allow me to work internationally. My experiences studying abroad in Europe have allowed me to open my eyes to new cultural perspectives within the academic, social, and professional life. It has made me realize how connected the world is within the business industry, making me appreciate how entertainment and tech companies connect people to ideas, products, and services through multiple means of communication and channels. I hope to continue to have a worldwide lens and perspective after studying abroad by pursuing more opportunities to travel and go abroad throughout my professional career.

Other Highlights:

  • Going on a weekend getaway to Bath with my study abroad friend whom I would now call my best friend.

  • Attending a Bridgerton-inspired ball! It was an immersive experience in which we dressed up and danced like in the show.

  • Going to see a musical every week in the heart of London's theatre district.

  • Discovering phenomenal food markets at every neighborhood in the city.
