In conjuction with Penn’s undergraduate schools and University administration, Penn Abroad has established academic and financial policies that apply to students before, during, and after their study abroad experience. Students who wish to apply to study abroad in a country under a travel warning are subject to the Heightened Risk Region Guidelines.
All Penn Abroad participants should ensure that they understand Penn Abroad's policies before they commit to studying abroad.
For information on what is expected of students and what students can expect from Penn Abroad, please see our Penn Abroad Expectations page.
