Elena Chachko is a Postdoctoral Fellow at Perry World House. In fall 2019, she was also a Lecturer on Law at Harvard Law School. She was previously a Predoctoral Fellow at the Harvard Kennedy School’s Belfer Center for Science and International Affairs, and also worked as an Analyst and Liaison Officer at Israel’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs, and as a law clerk for Chief Justice Asher D. Grunis at the Supreme Court of Israel. She has written papers for Yale Journal of International Law, American Journal of International Law Unbound, Hebrew University Law Review, and Lawfare, and will publish a paper on Administrative National Security in Georgetown Law Journal in 2020. Chachko is currently a doctoral candidate at Harvard Law School. She earned her L.L.M. from Harvard Law School as a Fulbright Scholar, and received her L.L.B. from Hebrew University of Jerusalem.
