Vivienne Born is is a Ph.D. candidate in the Political Science Department at the University of Pennsylvania, where she studies international relations with a focus on international political economy. She earned her B.A. in International Affairs and Economics from the University of Colorado. Her current research explores the ways in which the increasing international mobility of human capital fits into our broader understanding of globalization and its consequences. As a Graduate Student Fellow at the Perry World House, Vivienne will contribute to the Global Shifts research theme by developing a working paper on the domestic and international catalysts in the proliferation of skill-selective immigration policies.
