Immigration & Integration 

Penn Global’s International Student and Scholar Services office (ISSS) advances global engagement at the University of Pennsylvania and affiliated hospitals by offering inclusive, innovative, and impactful immigration and integration services.

ISSS Advising is offered virtually, providing flexibility and convenience for our global community. This allows international students, scholars, and staff to connect with advisors whether they’re in Philadelphia or abroad.

Study and Intern Abroad

Penn Abroad is the University’s hub for global student opportunities. Opportunities include semester and academic year study abroad, short-term study and research abroad programs, and a new summer travel term.

Penn Global Dissertation Grants  

The Penn Global Dissertation Grants program is a competitive grant source that provides support of up to $8,000 per award to Penn Ph.D. students who wish to add and/or enhance global components in their dissertation research. 

Global Policy Engagement

Perry World House is the hub for global policy engagement on Penn’s campus. Located at 38th and Locust Walk, Perry World House provides unique opportunities for Penn students to gain experience and build skills and knowledge bridging the academic and policy worlds. 

Global Student Clubs

Penn is home to dozens of clubs for students with an interest in global affairs, including the Assembly of International Students (AIS), Graduate and Professional Student Assembly (GAPSA), and numerous multicultural groups. Explore the Penn Club portal to find your community on campus.
