MyTrips Travel Registry

All Penn-affiliated international travel must be registered in MyTrips. Registration in MyTrips provides immediate access to Penn’s comprehensive travel assistance program, including 24/7 medical and security advice, travel medical insurance, evacuation and repatriation insurance and more. Travelers are asked to set up a one-time profile in MyTrips before registering Penn-affiliated trips and accessing these important benefits.
Already have a MyTrips Account?
If you already have a MyTrips account, there are two ways to quickly register a trip.
1. Book your flight with World Travel, Penn’s travel agent, via Concur and your trip is automatically registered. No further action needed.
2. If you did not book with World Travel, you can simply forward your travel itinerary i.e. flight or hotel confirmation email) from your UPenn email address without edits to: upenntravel@itinerary.internationalsos.com.
Create a MyTrips Profile
Please refer to the step-by-step instructions below to create a profile and register your trips(s).
Step 1: Create Your MyTrips Profile
You only need to make a profile once. If you already have a MyTrips profile, please skip to Step 2. To make a profile, please be sure to use the “MYTRIPS LOGIN” link above to ensure you are registered in Penn’s dedicated MyTrips portal. Once your profile is made you can register your trips. Follow the steps below to create your profile.
- Click on “My Trips Login” above
- Select “New User? Register Here”
- Set up log-in credentials:
- First & Last Name
- Your UPenn Email Address
- Password
- Two Security Questions
- Check the “I have read the privacy policy” & click “submit”
- Check your UPenn email inbox for a verification email from ISOS
- This email comes immediately. Check your junk mailbox if you haven’t received it
- The link in the email lasts 24 hours. If you miss this 24 hour window, please contact our office to login again
- Click on the link in the email & login into your MyTrips account
- Enter your 8-digit Penn ID#, home school, and phone number(s)
- Click “Update” and you’re done!
Step 2: Register Your Trip
After you have successfully created your MyTrips profile, refer to the Register an Individual Trip and/or Register a Group Trip tabs in the Resources & Services menu.

Note: If you booked your travel (flight or hotel) using World Travel, Penn’s travel agency, your trip is automatically registered in MyTrips. No further action is necessary.
Add Emergency Contacts
Students: Please be sure to update your emergency contact information in Path@Penn. Students must have at least one emergency contact on file to ensure that Penn is able to support you appropriately during an emergency situation.
Employees: Please be sure to update your emergency contact information in Workday@Penn. Log-in to Workday and select “Personal Information” from the drop-down menu on the top left. Then select “Change – Emergency Contacts.” If you are also a student at Penn, please update your emergency contact following the student instructions above as well.
