Join ISSS Advisors Mara Flamm and Niamh Lotty at The Fabric Workshop and Museum for a special curator tour of the exuberant and groundbreaking exhibit:The Living Temple: The World of Moki Cherry

Transportation fee will be fully covered by ISSS.

“The Living Templeisa vibrant retrospective celebrating the boundary‑breaking Swedish artist Moki Cherry (1943–2009), whose life was her canvas. From colorful textiles, costumes, and posters to ceramics, video, and sound, Moki’s work dissolves the line between home and stage, art and everyday life.”

We will also be accompanied by the Curator’s Assistant Nella Biacs, 2023 BFA in Dance, who will share her experiences as an Assistant Curator for the exhibit and its connection to her life as a Contemporary Dancer, along with Contemporary Jazz and House Music aficionado. Nella will also discuss Philly’s music and dance scene, along with suggestions for contemporary dance classes for all levels.

We will conclude our adventure with a tour of Reading Terminal Market.
