This mandatory information session will introduce students to staff from International Student and Scholar Services (ISSS) and its key immigration services and integration programs. It will also feature members from the Assembly of International Students (AIS) who will talk about life at Penn as an international student. There will be trivia at the end where you could win a prize! |
Mark your calendars for International Student Orientation (ISO) 2023, which will begin on Monday, August 21, 2023! Events will take place at various times and locations on campus throughout the week. View the full schedule below. Registration is not required for ISO events unless indicated.
NOTE: Events marked "PHINS" are not hosted by ISSS. Please reach out to the PHINS (Peers Helping Incoming New Students) for more information and details about these events.
Apart from ISO, you will also have the opportunity to participate in New Student Orientation (for undergraduate students) or School/program-specific orientation events (for graduate students).
- New Student Orientation (NSO) for all Penn undergraduates will begin on Wednesday, August 23 and end on Monday, August 28. For more information about NSO, please refer to the NSOAI website.
- Graduate students should check with their schools/departments to find out about any program-specific orientation events.
