Important Update: Non-Immigrant Visa Applications

The U.S. Department of State has issued updated guidance for non-immigrant visa (NIV) applicants, effective immediately:

• Visa Interviews: Schedule your appointment at the U.S. Embassy or Consulate in your country of nationality or residence.
• Designated Locations: Nationals of countries without routine NIV operations must apply at the designated embassy or consulate listed below.
• Fees & Wait Times: Applications outside your country of nationality or residence may face longer wait times, and fees are non-refundable.
• Existing Appointments: Current appointments generally will not be cancelled.
• Exceptions: This guidance does not apply to diplomatic/official visas, A, G, C-2/C-3/NATO visas, UN travel, or rare humanitarian/medical emergencies.
