Donna Steinfeldt

Donna Steinfeldt is the Senior Associate Director for Advising Services at ISSS. Her primary role is supervising a team of ISSS Advisors. She also advises F-1 and J-1 students, J-1 scholars, H-1B, O-1, E-3 and TN employees on immigration related areas as well as cultural and personal issues. In addition, she consults with academic departments regarding international student concerns and assists university departments (including UPHS entities) with immigration questions related to bringing foreign nationals to work, teach and perform research at Penn. Ms. Steinfeldt also processes H-1B petitions and handles permanent residency cases for teaching faculty and acts as a liaison for Penn’s Outside Legal Counsel Program for other university sponsored permanent residence and O-1 cases.

Ms. Steinfeldt obtained her Master’s in Intercultural Communication from the University of Pennsylvania’s Graduate School of Education and is an alumna of Penn State University.
