Gevorg Ghazaryan (Armenia)

Biography

Gevorg is a junior at the University of Pennsylvania studying Philosophy, Politics & Economics (PPE) and Real Estate. He grew up in Armenia, and has experienced firsthand the challenges and opportunities of transitioning from his home country to studying abroad in the United States.

At Penn, Gevorg is active in both academic and extracurricular life. He co-founded Maqoor, Armenia’s largest youth-led environmental NGO, where he has led projects in sustainability, youth education, and global advocacy in partnership with organizations such as the UNFCCC and European Commission. He also brings experience from internships in finance and real estate development projects, showing his strong interest in the intersection of real estate, finance, and sustainability.

As part of ISAB, Gevorg is excited to raise the voices of international students, ensure they feel supported in their academic and social journeys. Outside of his academic and leadership roles, he enjoys playing sports (boxing, soccer, tennis, golf), traveling, and discovering new cuisines.
