Biography
Katy has a background in data engineering and academic publishing, with a focus on streamlining workflows and enhancing the reliability and effectiveness of technical operations.
Most recently, she worked as a software engineer, modernizing reporting tools, building data pipelines, and maintaining cloud-based platforms in a large enterprise environment. Prior to that, she managed peer-review and publishing processes for medical and scientific journals, working closely with researchers, faculty editors, and society partners worldwide.
She holds a BA in Communication from Villanova University and is currently a Penn student in the Master of Computer and Information Technology (MCIT) program.
