Sachin Srivastava (India)

Biography

Sachin is a first-year PhD student in Management (Strategy & Entrepreneurship track) at The Wharton School, University of Pennsylvania. Before joining Wharton, Sachin was a Predoctoral Fellow at Harvard Business School, where he worked on projects at the intersection of entrepreneurship, finance, and labor markets. He also holds dual MS degrees in Public Policy and Innovation Management from Carnegie Mellon University, and a bachelor’s in Electrical & Electronics Engineering from India.

Sachin’s current research explores entrepreneurship, with a focus on how human capital, immigration, strategy, and finance shape labor market and firm outcomes.

Outside of research, Sachin enjoy traveling (especially to national parks), astro and landscape photography, mentoring students, and experimenting with fintech and entrepreneurial ideas. He is also halfway through my skydiving and Private Pilot License (PPL).
