Biography

Xing Yuqi is a graduate student at the University of Pennsylvania’s Graduate School of Education (Penn GSE), where she is enrolled in the LGIS program (Language, Globalization, and Intercultural Studies). She earned her bachelor’s degree in Communication and Education Studies from the University of Washington and graduated cum laude.

Yuqi has developed systematic experience in student services, educational support, and media-related work. She previously worked in student services at the University of Washington’s Housing & Food Services, where she became familiar with communication processes and operational practices in student-centered environments. In addition, she completed internships at China Education Press Agency and China Radio International, where she supported educational content organization, basic editing, and video production, and assisted with the operation of official media accounts.

She has also been long engaged in youth tutoring and student support volunteer programs, with sustained attention to students’ learning needs, academic support, and socio-emotional well-being. Yuqi has a strong interest in international student services, cross-cultural communication, and campus community building.
