Han Jung

Han is an International Student and Scholar Coordinator for the International Student and Scholar Services(ISSS). He started his life in the United States as a transfer student from South Korea and was naturally drawn to the field of international education. He previously worked at ESL schools in New York City where he assisted students from around the world for over eight years. His past roles include student services, Designated School Official(DSO) and housing coordinator. He enjoys meeting people from different cultures and backgrounds as he has a curious mind. He is very excited to join ISSS at University of Pennsylvania where he expects to meet talented minds and discover many opportunities to learn and grow. Han earned his BA in Creative Writing at CUNY Hunter College and he is happy to be one of the content editors for ISSS website. It is his side project to keep the information clear and up-to-date for Penn's ever-growing international community.
