As an International Student and Scholar Coordinator, Irene advises the University of Pennsylvania community on issues pertaining to federal immigration and employment regulations. She previously worked as an International Scholar Advisor at Wayne State University and North Carolina State University and as a paralegal at an immigration law firm. Most recently she was employed at ECFMG, an organization that provides J-1 visa sponsorship to foreign national physicians training in the United States.
Irene graduated from Franklin and Marshall College with a B.A. in History and obtained a M.A. in International Education from The American University. She is excited to be a member of the Penn Global team assisting international students and scholars during their stay in the United States.
