Penn Abroad Office Move

Over winter break, the Penn Abroad office will be packing up our boxes and moving to the 5th and 6th floors of 3935 Walnut St. The office will be working remotely from December 20, 2024, through January 8, 2025. During the move, there may be some delay to our response or the need to adjust office hours further.
Students abroad and in need of emergency support will still be able to access 24/7 assistance, details can be found on the Travel Guidance website.
Following the move, it may take us some time as we get settled to greet visitors into our new space, but we’ll still be offering opportunities for students to meet with an advisor or attend a drop-in session virtually. Please look out for more updates through the rest of the semester. We’re eager to officially open our doors and will be sure to let you know!
Timeline
- December 19, 2024 (Thursday) – Last day at 3539 Locust Walk.
- December 20-23, 2024 (Friday and Monday) – Penn Abroad staff will be working remotely during regular hours (9:00am – 5:00pm).
- December 24, 2024 (Tuesday) – Remote operations may be suspended for winter break beginning at 2:00pm.
- December 25, 2024 – January 1, 2025 – University Winter Break. Penn Abroad is closed.
- January 2-7, 2025 (Thursday, Friday, Monday, Tuesday) – Remote operations will resume during regular hours (9:00am – 5:00pm). No in-person services will be available.
- January 8, 2025 (Wednesday) – Penn Abroad will reopen for in-person operations at our new location: 3935 Walnut Street, 5th Floor.
