Did you miss the GRIP placement deadline, or are you still seeking an internship or research abroad program for this summer? There are summer opportunities available through many of Penn's centers. Check out these global summer opportunities accepting applications! Students accepted to these programs may also be eligible for funding through the Global Research & Internship Program.

Pulitzer Center International Reporting Fellowship
Application Deadline: January 21

Students who are passionate about journalism and under-reported international issues have the opportunity to travel abroad to South Asia, the Middle East, North Africa (MENA region), Latin America, or the Caribbean this summer. Apply to be an International Reporting Student Fellow! No previous reporting experience required. 

South Asia Center Research Internship Program
Application Deadline: January 24

Live, work and do research in South Asia through the South Asia Center Research Internship Program this summer. Find opportunities in Nepal, the Maldives, Pakistan, India, and Sri Lanka with topics ranging from Art, Ecology, LGBT Rights, Psychology, and much more. 

The Center for the Advanced Study of India Internships
Application Deadline: January 20
The Center for the Advanced Study of India (CASI) offers fully-funded summer internship opportunities to Penn students eager to explore modern India. CASI partners with nonprofit organizations and companies who work on a range of challenging contemporary issues, including public health, rural development, environmental sustainability, education, gender, and social enterprise.

Botswana-UPenn Partnership Summer Internships
Application Deadline: January 21
Botswana-Upenn Partnership (BUP) facilitates internship opportunities for Penn students outside of the School of Medicine. Find opportunities in Education, Nursing, Public Health, Communications, and water resource management and immerse yourself within a rich, southern African culture while engaging with peers from across the world.
