My Experience Abroad
Studying abroad in Korea supported my academic and professional goals by immersing me in the environment I had long studied through my coursework up to this point. I’ve previously explored Korea’s economic development, soft power, and corporate structure in classes. Living and studying in Seoul brought these concepts to life as I have witnessed firsthand how conglomerates like Samsung shape urban life and national identity, and I explored how Korean media and culture influence global consumer trends through classes, office visits, and general living.
Studying abroad also helped me grow personally. I navigated daily life in a new language, built friendships across cultures, and developed independence and adaptability. These are qualities I consider essential for my future in global business.
