I went abroad for the first time in a Spanish speaking country; although, I am fluent in Spanish, so there was really no language barrier for me. I am also pre med and took some classes to fulfill my neuroscience major electives while abroad.

My Experience Abroad

I took classes in the school of psychology which related a lot to what I learned in intro to neuro classes at Penn although the structure of the classes and the way things are graded is drastically different.

Other Highlights

• Being able to travel across Europe
• Immersing myself into local life in Sevilla – my favorite experience for sure
• Being able to use my Spanish much more often than I do on Penn’s campus
• Meeting new people from different places and with different backgrounds
