Students can reach out to me about how I explored topics related to real estate, fashion, or art while abroad. I’m also happy to discuss further all things related to volunteer opportunities, museum hacks, and transportation within Milan, Italy, as well as other parts of Europe. I can also discuss the process and experience of joining student clubs as an exchange student and all that comes with it — balancing travel, studies, and extracurricular activities, including writing weekly articles for student organizations. I’m glad to share my experiences moving to Italy as a beginner in Italian, combining cooking at home with dining out, and planning day trips as well as weekend trips. I’m always happy to share more about my experiences!
My Experience Abroad
Building a community was one of my main priorities going into my study abroad. As a real estate and legal studies concentrator at Wharton, I joined Bocconi’s real estate club, which gave me the opportunity to work on research projects with like-minded peers that covered the intersection of both fields. I had the chance to participate in various networking experiences to meet professionals in the industry and hear their experiences in their roles. Also, as an art history minor, the museums around me supplemented my education with real-world exposure. I also got to speak with auction house professionals at industry events hosted by the Bocconi’s trophy assets club. My coursework covered topics ranging from fashion companies and Chinese companies to global empires. My involvement in extracurriculars, industry events, and real-world experiences has provided me with a holistic global outlook that has shaped my perspective.
