Paree Pasi
SEAS ’27
SA: University of Edinburgh
Paree Pasi is a junior at the University of Pennsylvania majoring in Bioengineering with minors in Engineering Entrepreneurship and South Asian Studies. In the spring of 2026, she will study abroad at the University of Edinburgh in Edinburgh, Scotland, where she plans to take courses across her major and minors. Originally from Bucks County, Pennsylvania, just an hour from campus, Paree chose Penn for its diverse and vibrant community, a stark contrast to her hometown. During her time at Penn, she has built connections with people from around the world through her interdisciplinary academic interests and involvement in various student organizations. On campus, Paree is involved with the Wharton Undergraduate Healthcare Club, Global Equity Management, Chi Omega Fraternity for Women, and the Undergraduate Assembly. She is also the founder of Desis of Doylestown, a nonprofit dedicated to promoting South Asian cultural awareness in her local community. Outside of academics, Paree enjoys reality TV, drawing and coloring, traveling, and playing the piano. She is eager to immerse herself in a new country, educational system, and culture during her semester abroad, gaining a broader global perspective both personally and professionally.
Next spring, she looks forward to:
- Meeting students from across the United States and around the world
- Taking business courses to explore how international markets function
- Traveling throughout Scotland and experiencing its nature
- Seeing how healthcare engineering is taught in a different geopolitical context
