Sylvie Turk

CAS ’27
SA: Trinity College Dublin

SA Correspondents Spring 2026

Region: Europe

Sylvie is a junior at Penn majoring in Political Science and Urban Studies and minoring in Survey Research and Data Analytics. Originally from Los Angeles, she is passionate about using data-informed policy to better address critical social challenges, with a focus on homelessness and housing affordability.

In her free time, Sylvie loves playing guitar, discovering new music, and watching soccer with her brothers. Sylvie is very excited to be studying at Trinity College Dublin in Spring 2026.

She’s especially looking forward to:

exploring Ireland’s natural landscapes, from rugged coastlines to rolling green countryside
gaining an Irish perspective that expands how she approaches policy, society, and global issues
immersing herself in Ireland’s rich storytelling, music, and literary traditions
traveling Europe more broadly
