Alex serves as Penn Abroad’s Global Programs Assistant, providing key support to Exchange at Penn, Semester Abroad and Penn Global Seminars programming. Alex graduated from Oberlin College with a B.A. in history, concentrating on the colonial Atlantic world. As an undergraduate, he studied abroad in the Netherlands with a focus on the colonialist project that fueled the Dutch Golden Age. Prior to joining Penn Abroad, Alex worked in New York City at The Harlem School of the Arts.
