Entrepreneurship in Montevideo

Alison is a sophomore in Wharton studying Finance with a minor in English. She is originally from Atlanta, Georgia; in Montevideo, she works with Alva Creative House, a marketing and consulting agency focused on sustainability. On campus, she conducts research for nonprofits through the Crime and Justice Policy Lab, writes poetry with The Excelano Project, and is a PEER mentor for Asian American freshmen. She is excited to:

  • Build sustainability and diversity initiatives for tech companies in Latin America
  • Explore Montevideo’s coastline, La Rambla, and the city's diversity as a major trading port
  • Visit historic sites and cathedrals
  • Read Horace Quiroga’s short stories
  • Eat lots of chivito
  • Share her experiences with the Penn community!
