Clemente advises and supports students who are seeking global opportunities in the Semester Abroad (SA) program. Before joining Penn Abroad, Clemente was an Assistant Coordinator for the Hubert H. Humphrey Fellowship at Vanderbilt University. After transferring from community college, he completed his B.S. in Applied Learning and Development from The University of Texas at Austin, with a concentration in English as a Second Language and his M.Ed. from Vanderbilt University in International Education Policy and Management. Clemente’s passion for international opportunities stems from his own study abroad experience at Boğaziçi University in Istanbul, Turkey. Additionally, he taught independently at a bilingual school in Taiwan and worked for two years in the Netherlands as an English Teaching Assistant with the U.S. Student Fulbright Program.
