Liam Umbs is a rising senior in the College majoring in Philosophy, Politics and Economics (PPE) and minoring in Consumer Psychology. He is excited to study abroad this fall in the PPE program at Sciences Po in Paris, France, where he will take classes that provide an international perspective on current political issues. At Penn, he is a board member of Consult for America, serves as a peer advisor for incoming freshmen and plays piano in Penn Chamber music ensembles. In his free time, he enjoys cooking and exploring Philly’s restaurants. Liam is excited to serve as a Global Correspondent and share his experiences abroad with the Penn community.
This fall semester, he is looking forward to:
- Exploring the beauty of the city of Paris
- Visiting the museums, parks and landmarks
- Improving his French language skills
- Being immersed in French culture and learning French cooking skills
- Connecting with students from all around the world
