PGS: Global Business Communication for Impact

William Dalton is a sophomore at The Wharton School, studying Finance and Business Analytics with a minor in International Relations. This semester, he’s embarking on a journey to London with his Penn Global Seminar, a course that explores how communication strategies shape global affairs.

On campus, William is heavily involved in mentorship, serving as a Wharton Cohort Director, Kite & Key Tour Guide, and Writing Fellow at the Marks Family Writing Center. He’s also extremely passionate about social impact, reflected in his work with MUSE Consulting’s Social Impact Practice, Nonprofit Connect, and his own nonprofit, SAFE (Supplying Allergy Food and Education). William’s also a member of INTERCOL, writes for Penn Appétit, and contributes to the Wharton Undergraduate Consulting Club. When he’s not busy on campus, you’ll likely find William playing basketball and tennis with friends, hunting for the best eats in Center City, or diving into another rewatch of the original Star Wars trilogy.

As he gears up for his London adventure, William is especially excited to:

  • Explore the Churchill War Rooms and dive deeper into London’s history

  • Escape to the English countryside for a day of peaceful village hopping

  • Head back to Borough Market for a round 2 and uncover more allergy-friendly spots

  • Pay tribute to Princess Diana at Kensington Palace and the Memorial Garden

  • Stroll the Thames at sunset, soaking in the iconic skyline

  • Bond with classmates over afternoon tea
