Yasmina advises and supports students who are seeking global opportunities in the Semester Abroad (SA) program. Before joining the Penn Abroad Team, she served as a Program Coordinator at a Haitian-based nonprofit in the Atlanta Metropolitan Area. Yasmina studied abroad for an academic year in South Korea during her undergraduate studies at Georgia State University and returned to serve as a Peer Advisor at Georgia State University’s Study Abroad Programs Office. She received her BA in political science and international affairs and her MA in Korean studies in political economy and development through the Fulbright U.S. Student Program.
