As an International Student and Scholar Advisor, Amanda is excited to work with Penn’s international community. Amanda’s passion for international education began in college during her studies of cultural anthropology and grew during her experiences studying and living in Australia. She previously worked in international student and scholar services at Rowan University in Glassboro, NJ and the University of North Georgia in Dahlonega, GA. Amanda enjoys engaging with people from diverse cultural backgrounds and is eager to provide support and guidance to the international students and scholars at Penn.
She completed her BA in Anthropology at Monmouth University in West Long Branch, NJ and her MA in Development Studies from Macquarie University in Sydney, Australia. During her time in Sydney, Amanda also interned at Amnesty International assisting refugees and asylum seekers.
