The Division of the Vice Provost for University Life (VPUL) is home to many resource centers, ranging in missions from academic, cultural, and career, to health and wellness. Student organizations are the lifeblood of much activity on campus and provide many leadership and community opportunities.

Campus Safety  

Penn is a safe space. Penn’s Division of Public Safety is ranked #1 in safety and security among higher education institutions, according to Security Magazine’s Security 500 list. Penn Violence Prevention engages the Penn community in prevention of sexual violence, relationship violence, and stalking on campus.

Cultural Resource Centers  

Penn has several resource centers dedicated to specific populations and cultures. The ARCH building is home to the Pan-Asian American Community House (PAACH); The Center for Hispanic Excellence: La Casa Latina; and Makuu: The Black Cultural Center. Additional resources, such as the Penn Women’s Center and the Greenfield Intercultural Center, provide valuable spaces for intercultural exchange, making Penn a place where every student can feel valued and supported.
